you're like, really prITy.
It can be challenging to choose the best regimen that is right for your skin in the age of endless public opinions. However, with more knowledge comes more clarity. First and foremost, I encourage those who have access to healthcare to visit a dermatologist for a professional opinion regarding their skin (especially if you have troubled skin).
However, skincare does not only require topical solutions. The ways in which you are, or arent, nourishing your body will become visible on your skin over time. Are you drinking enough water? Are you taking vitamins?
If you answered no to the questions above, all is not lost! Be intentional, and choose to start making small shifts that will lead to a monumental transformation.
Here are 4 strategies to improve your skin over time!
Invest in Good Skin Care
Here are my favorite skin care products I use every single day to maintain the IT Girl glow. Click amazon links below.
Body shimmer (for that prITy Girl glow. Duh!)
Pro Tip: Don’t forget to apply sunscreen every single day. That goes for my WFH IT Girls as well! This daily habit will transform the texture of your skin in a beautiful way, while also protecting your skin from the sun.
Drink Plenty of Water
Being a prITy Girl is on brand (duh!) so being intentional about our inner beauty makes the outer beauty hit different.
Other than it's hydrating benefits, water flushes the toxins from our bodies, rids us of excess bloating, prevents muscle cramps, balances your body chemistry, etc.
If you struggle with tracking your daily water intake, grab a gallon water bottle from Amazon! You'll be motivated every hour on the hour.

Add Antioxidants to Your Diet
Antioxidants are crucial for both your skin and your overall health. Given that your skin is the biggest organ in your body, it requires many of the same healthy chemicals as the rest of your body. Some of the free-radical damage that causes skin-destroying inflammation is prevented by antioxidants. They also aid in skin healing and collagen production.
What's not to like about that? The amount of evidence demonstrating that an antioxidant-rich diet may benefit the skin is remarkable! Anti-aging superfoods include dark berries, celery, avocados, broccoli, tomatoes, asparagus, and green tea, to name a few.
I would suggest you start taking collagen in your 30s or late 20s because that’s when your skin starts showing signs of aging. Taking collagen will provide elasticity and suppleness that will eventually suppress wrinkles formation. You can add it to your smoothies, coffee, tea, etc.
Resist the Impulse to Try New Things
There's a rising interest in skin care on social media, with plenty of new products arising from nowhere in our feeds. As appealing as new product introductions might be, it's critical to figure out what works for you and stay with it. Refrain from surprising your skin. Identify your specific issues (for example, dryness, acne, or discoloration) and create a short list of items that will address those issues. On a self-care Sunday, there's nothing wrong with trying a new mask or exfoliant, but don't succumb to the never-ending onslaught of new products to try.
Everyone's skin is different and may require a different skin care regimen. This is how I stay prITy! & self-care is an expression of self-love. How will you stay prITy?
If you're not sure where to start, you may need a little guidance and that's ok! Transformation is found on the other side of seeking knowledge with intention.
